Through the years the College of Management has been producing students and teachers who give not only honor and pride to the college but to the university as a whole. To commend those outstanding Iskolars ng Bayan, we bring you this section entitled “FEATURES” that will present different people from students, to teachers, to organizations who excel in their different fields and uphold the name of the university as one of the promising university in the country.
Kim Rommel E. Panaguiton
Kim Rommel E. Panaguiton, magna cum laude, earned the distinction of having garnered the highest general weighted average (GWA) of 1.237 among the graduates of 2014. Kim Rommel is also a member of Association of Certified Public Accountants in Education (ACPAE) and has been actively involving himself in different competitions organized by the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (JPIA).
Frietz Arban D. Perales
Fritz Peralez, a Cum Laude graduate of BSBA Marketing Batch 2014 has been awarded as UPV’s Most Outstanding Graduate. He received this award due to his excellent leadership in different student organizations and involvement in community development and youth empowerment. His participation in various individual competitions in academic and intellectual activities included the following: Delegate, 8th Aboitiz Future Leaders Business Summit, August 16-17,2013 Marco Polo Cebu; National Finalist, Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines; Regional Finalist, Bayer Young Environmental Envoy 2013, April 2, 2013, Amigo Terrace Hotel, Iloilo City; Delegate, 15th Ayala Young Leaders Congress, Feb. 1-8, 2013, San Miguel Corporation Convention and Training Center; Delegate, Ninoy and Cory Aquino Leadership Journey, DepEd Ecotech Center, June 28-30, 2013.
Noli Franco Escoltero
Noli franco Escoltero, a first year BS Management student has been making a name in the college for being one of the best players during Pahampang 2013. Being a first year student did not stop Noli from showcasing his skills and abilities in different sports such as table tennis, badminton, lawn tennis, basketball and volleyball. His exceptional skills, confidence and determination made him one of the promising athletes and was awarded “Athlete of the Year” in Pahampang 2013.
Atty. Christopher Honorario
The College of Management would like to congratulate Atty. Christopher Honorario or commonly known as Sir Tope, a faculty of the Department of Accounting for passing the 2014 Bar Examination. Sir Tope completed his Bachelor of Laws in University of Iloilo.
Junior Executive Society Inc.
Junior Executive Society (JES) Inc. has been one of the most active academic organizations in the university. This year, JES proved its worth once again as it successfully held various activities such as the JES Akwe, trade fair, forums and conferences which not only benefited the students, but gave pride to the college as well. With the help of our college dean, staff and the Department of Management, Negosential, a Panay-wide business conference, is one of the biggest events that the College of Management ever held, and it garnered praises and recognition from different schools and various speakers as well.
